Construction of a greenhouse on the Half Way House in Roosboom

Young farmers from Levi’s Nek farm in Lesotho came to Roosboom to share their know-how and build a 200 m² greenhouse on the Halfway House site, similar to those they have already built on their own farm.
Pine poles are set in cement at a depth of 50 cm, each 3 m apart. Metal tubes connect the poles together, forming a solid structure capable of withstanding the elements. A project undertaken by Designing Hope with the support of the Bel Foundation and The Ivory Foundation.
