Preparing a carrot bed in the greenhouse

Once the beds had been prepared, and the soil refined and weeded, the women of Roosboom set about preparing a typical bed, sown with carrots in rows close together, according to permaculture principles.
In fact, we try to maximize production on the beds. For carrots, we work in 5 tight rows to save water.
We fertilize the soil with a mixture of compost, manure and biochar placed in the dug rows to save resources, as we have a large area to work.
